Description
The solicitation for the Wiring Repair Tool Set requirement will be posted on the web, on or about 9 February 2006. The solicitation will be posted on the NAVAIR homepage located at http://www.navair.navy.mil. See below for accessing solicitation and associated documents. THIS SOLICITATION HAS BEEN CHANGED AND SUPERSEDES ALL PREVIOUS NOTICES ASSOCIATED WITH THE MH-60R WIRING REPAIR TOOL SET AS FOLLOWS: FROM: 100% SET ASIDE FOR VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS (VOSB) TO: 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE UNDER NAICS 332212. QUANTITIES CHANGED FROM: FIVE (5) PRE PRODUCTION AND THIRTEEN (13) PRODUCTION UNITS TO: ONE (1) PRE PRODUCTION AND TWELVE (12) PRODUCTION WIRING REPAIR TOOL SETS. OPTION PERIOD CHANGED FROM: ONE (1) 48-MONTH OPTION PERIOD TO: FOUR (4) ONE ?YEAR OPTION PERIODS. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst (NAWCADLKE) requires the manufacturing and delivery of one (1) Pre Production MH-60R Wiring Repair Tool Set, twelve (12) Production MH-60R Wiring Repair Tool Sets, Product Drawings, Technical Manual/Illustrated Part breakdown, Maintenance Planning/Provisioning data and four (4) one-year option periods for up to an additional forty-eight (48) option MH-60R Wiring Repair Tool Sets. The Wiring Repair Tool Set is Peculiar Support Equipment for the H-60 aircraft. The Wiring Repair Tool Set is comprised of approximately 200 tools stored within foam inserts that are installed inside fiberglass carrying cases. Each tool set contains both military specification and commercial tools used for the repair and maintenance of aircraft wiring system and components. Each tool Set case will provide a content chart depicting the layout and listing of the configuration and tools contained in each case. The foam inserts are assemblies with cavities cut out to accommodate each tool. Any fabrication tooling developed by the contractor for use in the manufacture of the foam inserts will become the property of the US Navy upon contract completion. The Government anticipants awarding one Firm-Fixed Price contract through competitive Small Business Set-Aside procurement procedures. The solicitation will be posted on the NAVAIR homepage located at http://www.navair.navy.mil. Select ?Doing Business? and then ?Open Solicitations." Look for amendments on the web page.
