- Description
- U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans District, intends to issue a solicitation as Requests for Proposal for the rehabilitation of three pump stations in St. Bernard Parish, Louisiana. The rehabilitation process will be accomplished through a de sign build contract. The project will be bid as one contract for the three pump stations. The contractor will be responsible for all engineering and design of new pump platforms, removal and disposal of two existing prefabricated metal building, replacin g diesel engines, and supplying hydraulic pumps and pump drivers, integrating the existing undamaged pumps and miscellaneous repairs. The estimated period of performance of the contract is five month. The magnitude of project is between $5,000,000 and $1 0,000,000. All responsible sources submitting offers in response to this solicitation shall be considered. Additional information will be provided in the solicitation which is due to be issued on or about March 1, 2006. No telephone requests for copies of this solicitation will be honored. All interested parties will be able to retrieve a copy of the solicitation when it becomes available for download from the FedTeds.gov website.
