Description

Requirements type contract for meals, lodging, and transportation for applicants processing through the Oklahoma City, OK Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS) during the base period of 1 July 2006 through 30 June 2007, with four option periods . Services include a supper meal, overnight lodging, breakfast the following morning, and transportation to the MEPS. Estimated number of applicants processed annually is 10,870. The average number of applicants processed daily is 51; however, the possibil ity exists for the daily number to reach 200 maximum. This contract will be awarded on a Best Value basis using the tradeoff source selection process. The appropriate NAICS code is 721110 with a size standard of $6M. All responsible sources may submit a p roposal(s), which will be considered. The solicitation will be posted on the Fort Knox Contracting homepage at: http://doc.knox.army.mil on or about 6 March 06; all amendments to the solicitation will be likewise posted to this website. Paper copies of the solicitation and amendments will not be issued. Contractors are cautioned to check the website periodically. No solicitation mailing list will be compiled. Contractor is responsible for all costs of producing and mailing their proposal. Proposal must be written, submitted in accordance with the instructions on page 2 of the solicitation, and mailed to Directorate of Contracting, SFCA-SR-KN Bldg 1109B, STE 250, 199 6th Ave, Fort Knox, KY 40121-5720. Package exterior must be marked with solicitation numbe r (Block 5 of the solicitation) and the opening date (Block 8). Proposal will not be accepted by email or facsimile.
