- Description
- The U.S. Government Accountability Office intends to issue a sole-source purchase order to the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities, One Dupont Circle NW, Suite 605, Washington, DC 20036, for one base year membership, with 4 option years. The membership is to assist GAO in the National Internship program for recruiting of Hispanics. The students will conduct research and interviews and summarize observations and facts in writing; apply analytical methods to data to identify patterns, trends, or irregularities; research aspects of the design matrix or project plant to assist preparation of audit plans; assist in maintaining proper documentation of job management and project files; contribute to drafting written products; and participate in meetings with GAO and agency officials to gather information or communication progress or results of work. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the government not to compete with this proposed contract upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. See Note 22.
