- The United States Government Accountability Office (GAO) intends to issue an order under other than full and open competition to Fox Technologies, Inc., 3950 Fabian Way, Palo Alto, CA 94303, for consulting assistance related to Fox software owned by GAO. This assistance includes setup, configuration, installation, testing, and training related to the use of Fox?s BoKS master and replica software on GAO network production servers. GAO has been a user of the Fox software (previously known as RSA Keon prior to change in ownership) since approximately 2002. The system is used to provide centralized user account management and security policy enforcement for approximately 4200 workstation users within the GAO. GAO will be deploying the newest Fox offering, BoKS Server 6.0.3. Fox Technologies is the only vendor that we have identified that has the expertise and resources to provide the requested services. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. See Note 22.
