- This modification is to re-advertise the previously cancelled synopsis. THIS NOTICE WILL SERVE AS THE PRESOLICIATION NOTICE. This project is for the construction of a 19,672 to 24,125 gross square foot Combined Fire and Police Complex, by renovating an existing historic facility and constructing an addition. Construction will be compatible with the installation designation as a National Historic Landmark. Renovation of the existing facility and design and construction of the addition will include, but not be limited to the following: vehicle bays for fire and emergency response vehicles, overhead vehicle exhaust system with automatic disconnect, a central fire alarm system for the installation and a central dispatch center for fire and police, kitch en facilities, restrooms, sleeping quarters, exercise room, administrative space, arms room, training room and emergency operations center, exterior lighting, paving, walks, curbs, parking area and landscaping. The following options are also included in t his solicitation: Option 1: Install concrete pavement; Option 2: Install brick pavers; Option 3: Install hydronic snow melt system; Option 4: Add 2,200 sf to new facility; Option 5: Add 2,200 sf to new facility; Option 6: Re-roof Building 225; Option 7: R ehabilitate 1st Floor of Building 225; Option 8: Rehabilitate 2nd Floor of Building 225; Option 9: Conference room A/V equipment; Option 10: Store and Install Furniture. This solicitation is a Request for Proposal (RFP). Proposals received in response to this solicitation will be evaluated in accordance with the following criteria listed in descending order of importance: Experience, Past Performance and Management Approach. The price range is $5,000,000 to $10,000,000. Project specification and drawin g files are Portable Document Format (PDF) files and can be viewed, navigated or printed using Adobe Acrobat Reader.
