- Description
- Sole Source. The United States Army Contracting Agency Southern Region, Yuma Directorate, Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Arizona, intends to negotiate a firm-fixed price contract on a sole source basis with Ncode International Inc. DBA Somat, P.O. Box 2457, Champaign, IL 61825-2457. The Army Materials Systems Analysis Activity (AMSAA) has previously adopted the same instrumentation for vehicle tests. Since testing of the same model military vehicles occurs jointly at both YPG and APG, it is import ant to use the same model data acquisition system which records GPS, J1708 and CAN bus data simultaneously. This contract will be for the purchase of one (1) EDAQ-Lite base assembly (includes TCE set-up software and pelican case) part# ELCPU with power ca ble part# SAC-EPWR15 and RS232/XO cable assembly part# SAC-ESR9/Xo, one (1) sandisk 2 GB industrial flash card/ecpu-plus part# CF2GB-INT, one (1) EDAQ-lite Dio with GPS part# ELDIO-GPS with 3 pin male to pigtail/2M part# SAC-TRAN-MP-2, one (1) can vehicle bus interface module part# EDIO-VBM-CAN, one (1) J1708 interface module part# EDIO-VBM-J1708, three (3) EDAQ-lite bridge low level 350 part# ELBRG-350 with 6 pin male to pigtail/2m part# SAC-TRAN-MP-2, six (6) EDAQ-lite HLS board part# ELHLS with 24 pin ma le to pigtail/2m part# SAC-TRAN-MP-2, four (4) universal samrtstrain/350 rev.4 part# SMSTRB4-350, four (4) smart thermocouple module part# SMITC, one (1) ICP signal conditioner module with BNC connector part# EHLS-ICP-B, one (1) EDAQ display assembly part# E-display, one (1) EDAQ AC adapter/15v part# E-AC, and eleven (11) 6 pin male to female ext 2 meter part# SAC-EXT-MF-2 to be used with other like systems already in use at YPG. Award of this requirement will be in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regu lations (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items.
