- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE - February 2006 FA8771-06-R-0002 - Maintenance/Technical Support for the T2CSS Contracting Office: Department of the Air Force, Air Force Material Command, Electronic Systems Center, HQ Operations and Sustainment Systems Group, 490 East Moore Dr., Suite 270, MAFB-Gunter Annex AL 36114-3000 Notice: This is a follow-on contract/purchase order to procure maintenance/technical support for one year from the manufacturer, 3S Group, Inc., to support the Type 2 Cryptographic Support Server (T2CSS) product. Justification: Supplies or services required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible sources under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested sources may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. Duration: Period of performance will be one year from the date of contract award. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, all proposals received within 10 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
