- Description
- The Government intends to negotiate a Commercial Firm Fixed Price type contract for Coating, Painting and Blasting services. The contractor shall provide services as required by the Norfolk Naval Maritime Industrial Branch, Portsmouth, VA on specified rapid securing device (RDS) and Indicator Stabilization Data (ISD) parts and components in accordance to NAVAIR specs, coating guides and drawings. This procurement is a 100% Small Business Set Aside. The NAICS code applicable to this procurement is 332813. The size standard is 500 employees. The period of performance consists of a base period of one year, with one twelve-month option period. The anticipated start date is March 1, 2006. This requirement is a follow-on to N00181-05-M-C171 awarded to Vanwin Coatings of Virginia, L.L.C, 2601A Trade Street, Chesapeake, VA 23323. . The solicitation, any documents related to this procurement, and all amendments will be in electronic form. When the Request for Quote (RFQ) is issued, it may be downloaded by accessing http://www.neco.navy.mil or at http:www.fedbizopps.gov. This office no long issues hardcopy solicitations. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be posted on or about 6 February 2006. By submitting a quote, the offeror will be self certifying that neither the principal corporate officials or owners are currently suspended, debarred or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal Agency. The Contracting Officer reserves the right to conduct verbal or written discussion with respect to other than price with the offerors at anytime prior to award.
