Description

PRE SOLICITATION/SYNOPSIS: THIS SOLICITATION IS SET-ASIDE FOR THE SMALL BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (SBA) PROGRAM UNDER SECTION 8(a) IN THE PORTFOLIO OF THE SBA ILLINOIS DISTRICT OFFICE. ?The work includes providing all labor, material, equipment transportation and supervision for asphalt and Portland cement concrete pavement construction and repair and all incidental and related work. The work includes, but is not limited to, asphalt and concrete pavement construction and repair such as paving, patching, surface treatments, sold-in-place recycling, earthwork, landscaping, curb, gutter, drainage structures and pipes. ? This is not a time and material contract, but rather an indefinite quantity construction contract where the contractor will be paid on the unit prices for various types of work ordered. ? This solicitation will be competed among eligible section 8(a) firms certified for participation in the 8(a) program, which have NAICS Code 237310; size standard is $28.5M. The FSC Code is Y222. --Estimated total value for the base year and two (2) one year option periods shall not exceed $5,000,000. ?The performance period is 365 calendar days from the date of award. ?The Request for Proposal will be available on the ESOL web site on or about February 13, 2006.
