- The US Department of Veterans Affairs, Austin Automation Center, in conformance with FAR Section 19.1406 (Sole Source Awards to Service-disabled Veteran-owned Small Business Concerns), intends to award a sole-source commercial contract to HMS Technologies, Martinsburg, WV for Computer Associates eTrust Cleanup for CA-Top Secret Security/ETCLNT00200. To the best knowledge of the VA, HMS is the sole authorized Service-disabled Veteran-owned Small Business (SDVOSB) provider for this mainframe software. Responses to this notice must be in writing and must be received by 12:00pm CST on 10 Feb 2006. Other firms will be considered only if responding with clear and convincing evidence that the firm has been granted rights to sell this software and is a certified SDVOSB. The determination to open competition based on responses is solely at the discretion of the Government. If a solicitation is issued, no additional synopsis will be published.
