Description
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement for the acquisition of Standard Radar Analysis Support System for Site Evaluation (RASS-S) Configuration 010 (CON 010) containing: Radar Field Analyser RFA 641, Radar Video Recorder RVR 481, Radar Video Interface,RVI 299, Radar Gyroscope and Inclinometer RGI 59x, Extended Radar Data Recorder RDR600+GPS450, Radar RF Testset RFT 646+3DS, 2xCOM665 laptop computers, software license and maintenance from Inventive Electronics, Inc., Niceville, Florida. Intersoft Electronics, located in Belgium, is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the RASS-S. Inventive Electronics Inc. is the only known Intersoft Electronics distributor in the United States. The RASS-S test equipment will be used in support of the Terminal/Advisory Support Program. The RASS-S will allow the program team to test, repair and maintain various terminal/advisory radar systems quicker and with greater accuracy, resulting in higher system availability. The FAA does not have specifications or drawings. The contractor must have access to the OEM's specifications and drawings or be an authorized distributor of Intersoft Electronics. Potential sources must provide documentation to the FAA showing proof of rights to use the data from the OEM or documentation indentifying your company as an authorized distributor. Statements that data will be obtained or that specifications or drawings will be developed are not acceptable. Only those responses providing the required documentation in response to this market survey will be considered prior to further action by the FAA. Mark responses to this market survey with Market Survey File 06-01276, to arrive by February 10, 2006, no later than 2:30 pm CST. Facsimile responses are permitted at 405-954-9219. Email responses are permitted at sherrie.files@faa.gov. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing responses to this market survey. Any proprietary information should be so marked. This market survey shall not be construed as a request for proposal or as an obligation on the part of the FAA to acquire these items. Responders to this market survey may be asked to provide additional details/information based on their initial submittal.
