- RE060180001000 6810-00-286-3783 & 6810-00-297-9540 IQC, Fixed-Price w/EPA Solicitation number: SP0406-06-R-1313 This solicitation is for 2 NSN(s): 6810-00-286-3783 ? Water, Battery; Unit box contains four 1-Gallon bottles. Each bottle shall be equipped with secondary seal. All bottle containers shall be marked ?For Lead Acid Batteries Only?; critical application item; & NSN 6810-00-297-9540? Battery Water; Unit polyethylene drum contains 5 gallons; all containers will be marked as follows: ?For Lead Acid Batteries Only?; drum closure shall be fitted with a gasket and anti-back-off device; critical application item. Direct access to defense and federal specifications, standards, and related standardization documents is available on the Internet via http://assist.dapsmil or http://www.dodssp.daps.mil. Solicitation will be issued as an Indefinite Quantity Contract, Fixed Price w/ EPA with one base year plus two option years. Solicitation will not contain progress payments. There currently are Surge & Sustainment requirements for these NSN ending 3783 only. Pricing will be based on the Estimated Annual Demand (EAD) Quantity which is 4624 for the base and option years (NSN ending 3783) and 4984 (NSN ending 9540). The Guaranteed Minimum Quantity (Base Year Only) is 1156 (NSN ending 3783) and 1246 (NSN ending 9540). The Maximum Contract Quantity is 9248 (Base year) & 6936 (Option years) for NSN ending in 3783; 9968 (Base year) & 7476 (Option years) for NSN ending in 9540. The Minimum/Maximum per order for the base and option years is 1156 / 4624 for NSN ending in 3783; 1246 / 4984 for NSN ending in 9540. Solicitation will be issued under the competitive procedures of Full and Open after Exclusion of Sources, as a 100% Small Business Set Aside. These are commercial items. FOB is Destination. Inspection/Acceptance is at Destination. QAP 010 applies. MSDS and Hazardous Warning Label are required. Quantity Variance is plus 5% or minus 5%. Requested delivery is 30 days ARO. Automated Best Value System (ABVS) applies. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. Stock delivery will be to Richmond, VA (SRG) and Tracy, California (AQ5). This item is not a Critical Safety Item (CSI). Synopsis on Fed Biz Ops will occur on February 3, 2006. The solicitation will be issued on February 21, 2006 with a closing date of March 21, 2006.
