- THE RESPONSE DATE HAS BEEN CHANGED TO FEBRUARY 10, 2006. The Defense Logistics Agency HQ has a requirement for snow removal, ice removal and ice control services for the DLA HQ Complex, 8725 John J. Kingman Road, Bldg 2462, Fort Belvoir VA 2260 and for the Child Development Center (CDC), 8715 Willis Road, Bldg 2468, and the Defense Threat Reduction Center (DTRA). The DLA HQ Complex includes the main building, three guard houses, Defense Threat Reduction Center, Child Development Center. The DLA HQ Complex is a 70 acre site surrounded by security fencing . Fort Belvoir is located on the Potomac Peninsula, 11 miles southwest of Alexandria and 18 miles southwest of Washington, DC. The Government contemplates the award of an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity, Firm Fixed Price contract with a base period of February 1, 2006 to September 30, 2006, with four one year option periods to be exercised at the convenience of the Government. Services to be provided include all labor, supervision, snow removal equipment, tools, materials, and management necessary to assure effective performance of all snow removal and ice control services for the complex. The Government will award a contract resulting from this combined synopsis/solicitation to the responsible Offeror whose offer conforming to the synopsis/solicititation is judged to be most advantageous to the Government, lowest price ??? technically acceptable.
