- Description
- The USCG Engineering Logistics Center has a requirement to overhaul one (1) each Ulstein Z Drive System, Right Hand, STBD, NSN 2010-21-920-0919, P/N 135OHB8106242. The overhaul of this Z Drive System shall be accomplished in accordance with current OEM specification and standards using only genuine OEM parts. It is the Governments belief that only Rolls Royce Canada LTD, the Original Equipment Manufacturer, and/or their authorized repair facility, has the capability to overhaul this Z Drive System; therefore it is the Government?s intention to award a sole-source purchase order to Rolls Royce Canada LTD. However, other sources having the capability to obtain the required OEM parts and technical and engineering specification to complete the overhaul of this Z Drive System can submit their capabilities within five (5) calendar days from the date of this notice. Concerns that respond to this notice must fully demonstrate their capabilities to overhaul these Turbochargers by submitting detailed information that must include (1) complete and current engineering data demonstrating the acceptability of parts (i.e., salient physical, functional, and serviceability characteristic); (2) verification of offeror?s capability in obtaining current technical and engineering data for these turbochargers; and (3) verification these items has been successfully overhauled for the Government and/or the OEM. This data must be sufficient enough to allow Coast Guard to evaluate the information relative to the above requirements. Information received after the established deadline shall not be considered for this acquisition. Delivery of the overhauled Z Drive Systems shall be no later than 90 calendar days after receipt of Government-furnished property. Delivery shall be FOB Destination delivery to USCG Engineering Logistics Center, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, MD 21226-5000. Request for Quotation No. HSCG40-06-Q-6MF121 shall be issued on or about February 21, 2006. The closing date for receipt of quotation shall be no later than March 10, 2006.
