- Furnish all labor, material and equipment necessary to replace fencing at the U.S. Coast Guard Battery Building in lower Manhattan, New York City. The facility is located at the southern end of Manhattan Island between Battery Park and the Staten Island Ferry Terminal. The work includes the removal of approximately 800 feet of chain link fencing and installation of new ornamental fencing and incidental related work. The height of the new fencing shall vary between 6 feet and 8 feet. This Invitation for Bids is 100% small business set-aside for which the applicable small business size standard is $13 million average annual receipts for the three previous fiscal years. This project is estimated between $100,000 and $250,000. A 20% Bid Bond is required and 100% Performance and Payment Bonds will be required after award. The applicable NAICS Code is 238990. The tentative bid opening date is 23 March 2006. Bid packages will be available on or about 21 February 2006 at a non-refundable charge of $16.
