- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotes (RFQ). Submit written offers (oral offers will not be accepted), on RFQ AETC/CC March Conference. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-24 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 532111 and the size standard of $21.5 Million sales/year applies to this procurement. This requirement is for rental vehicles for the AETC Commander’s Conference 3-10 March 2006 at Luke AFB, AZ. This requirement in unfunded and will be contingent on availability of funds. Award will be made for estimate quantities NOT TO EXCEED: 5 Full-Size Black Cadillac DTS and 95 mid-size vehicles. Please price all quotes on a per vehicle basis broken out by category (i.e. Cadillac DTS and Mid-Size vehicles) and include any discounts available for bulk rentals. Include not only daily but weekly rates for the vehicles, additionally include cost per car for delivery to Luke AFB, AZ. All drivers of the vehicles will be active duty military, and therefore insured under the military umbrella. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items, applies. Offerors are required to submit a completed copy of FAR 52.212-3 Alt 1, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, with their quote, which can be found at http://www.farsite.hill.af.mil.
