- J-- The contractor shall furnish all depot level labor, facilities, special tooling, test equipment and materials for maintenance and overhaul of the CH-47 Hollow Pin. Input/Output NSN & P/N: 5315-01-295-7008/114R2197-7. This is a five-year Indefin ite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) requirement for a min/max quantity of 50/3,420 each. Upon completion of overhaul, the assets anticipated shipment destination is New Cumberland, PA (FOB Origin). The government required output delivery schedule is 90 days after receipt of assets at a rate of 27 each per month. This is an Aviation Critical Safety Item. Public Law No. 108-136, National Defense Authorization Act Fiscal Year 2004, Section 802, Quality Control in Procurement of Aviation Critical Safety items and Related Services, implemented for acquisition by Department of Defense Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) 209-270 requires that contracts for modification, repair, or overhaul of CSI items only be awarded to a source approved by the head of the design control activity. Overhaul shall be in accordance with Depot Maintenance Work Requirement (DMWR) 55-1615-296 dated 01 Nov 1985 with Change 17 and all applicable Maintenance Engineering Orders (MEOs) & Army Engineering Directive (AED's). Cur rent approved sources are as follows: the Original Equipment Manufacturer Fenn Manufacturing (Cage 82001) Newington, Connecticut and Fabritech, Inc. (CAGE 0TLW4), East Alton, Illinois. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be e ligible for award. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may not close prior to the closing date stated above. Foreign Firms are reminded that all reques ts for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. This requirement is currently unfunded.
