- Description: The HQ Air Intelligence Agency Contracting Division at Lackland AFB TX intends to award a Purchase Order to SIRSI Corporation, 101 Washington Street SE, Huntsville, ALA 35801-4827 on a SOLE SOURCE BASIS (due to proprietary information, which is protected by copyright laws), pursuant to FAR 13.5, for Software Maintenance. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) and Other Than Full and Open Competition in accordance with (10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1)) (SOLE SOURCE) FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(i). This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented, with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation document, incorporated provisions, and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-07, Effective 3 Jan 06. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code associated with the acquisition is 423430. The Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program does not apply to this acquisition. Feb 2006) CLIN 0004, Annual Software Maintenance Possible Period of Performance (? Feb 06?30 Sep 06), Item No. MNT-SWM-GO, Quantity required is One (1) each. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors?Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The simplified acquisition procedures of FAR 13 will apply to this acquisition. Quotations shall be evaluated in accordance with FAR 13.602?Evaluation of Quotations or Offers. The contracting officer shall evaluate quotations inclusive of transportation charges from the shipping point of the supplier to the delivery destination. All quotations or offers quoting the aforementioned item shall be considered.
