- Prepare existing engine generator/storage building for a new E/G (Engine/Generator) and UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) for installation by the FAA. Work includes removing old E/G, wiring, interior wall, old roof and mechanical equipment, and preparing the building for a new E/G and UPS. Included in the installation: ? A new roof ? Painting ? Leveling the concrete floor ? Removal of old E/G concrete pads ? A large opening for the future E/G air exhaust ? A load bank for the future UPS ? An interior UPS room with air conditioning units ? New lights/wiring, intake dampers for future E/G separation of essential versus critical loads in the existing radar (with four new power panels) ? New underground runs between the E/G building and the radar building. Project performance time: 90 days. Estimated cost: under $250,000.00 Small Business Set-Aside
