- Description
- The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services is soliciting proposals for IT infrastructure oversight and support services for the Quality Net (Q-Net), an environment that support sumerous projects for a variety of CMS organizations. CMS requires contractor support for the technical infrastructure components of the Q-Net environment. This infrastructure support includes: network, Unix and Microsoft servers, configuration management, testing, project and task management and security. The contractor shall proactively manage the evolutionary growth and expansion of the Q-Net technical infrastructure as well as manage the evolution of the engineerign and development process, including configuration management and testing. The period of performance shall be a base year plus six one-year options and is limited to only certified 8(a) concerns. Offerors may subcontract with large businesses provided the offeror perform 51% of the work effort. The solicitation shall be posted in the Fedbizopps on or about February 15, 2006. Proposals shall be due no later than April 18, 2006. Offerors are advised that the deadline for the submission of questions is March 15, 2006. One award shall be made to the offeror whose proposal represents the best overall value to the Government.
