Description
This is notice that Naval Special Warfare Group One, San Diego, Ca intends to award a sole source Firm Fixed Price contract to AM General, LLC 105 N Niles Ave South Bend, In. 46617 under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 for HMMWV Battle Damage Assessment and Repair Course. (BDAR) This notice is not a request for offers. The contractor identified is the only known source for the subject requirement. Responses to this notice will be used to determine if bona fide competition exists. Any such responses must be in writing and include technical and pricing information. The Government will not pay for any information submitted. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. A determination by the Government not compete this procurement action, based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. See Numbered Note 22. All responses must be received not later than 2:00 PM PST February 15, 2006. No extensions will be granted. All inquiries and/or quotations should be submitted to Yvonne C. SIC 8299 NAICS 611519 Description: Battle Damage Assessment and Repair Course (BDAR) Provide specific required training to include HMMWV systems operations familiarization, mechanical trouble shooting, battle damage assessment, field expedient emergency repair and manual bypass of various critical HMMWV systems that are not covered in field manuals or technical manuals Forty (40) hour curriculum, conducted over five (5) days, seven (7) classes of twelve (12) students each, Total eighty-four (84) students, to be conducted between the third week of February 2006 and to be concluded not later than the fourth week of August 2006 at the contractor?s facility.
