- On November 15, 2005, the Cooperative Threat Reduction (CTR) Directorate, Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) published a Sources Sought notice at FedBizOps (Solicitation Number CT 060002542). This notice requested that interested companies submit a short summary of company CTR-related capabilities and a brief White Paper outlining an approach to a fictional CTR-related scenario. DTRA appreciates the numerous responses. The responses displayed a range of relevant broad and niche skill sets. The CTR Directorate has completed its assessment of the responses and has determined that a new acquisition will not be initiated to replace the current multiple award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract for threat reduction work. The responses will be kept on file. We will use the information to assist us in our market research for contracting actions necessary to support CTR requirements in the future.
