Description
The Regional Contracting Office ? SW Region is conducting market resarch to identify companies that have the capability to perform a contract that is to repair automotive service equipment, to include but not limited to, grease and lube pumps, hose reel assemblies, high/medium/low pressure hoses, lubrication meters, control valves, air compressors, air dryers, etc; automotive lifts, to include but not limited to, in-ground and above ground; and vehicle exhaust systems at Base Motor Transport Facilities and other tenant facilities aboard MCB Camp Pendleton, and Naval Weapons Station, Fallbrook Detachment. The contract will be for a Base Year and four one year option periods. This is not a formal solicitation or a request for proposal. This is a sources sought announcement seeking only small business responses in order to determine small business participation in the acquisition. For the purpose of small businesses, the NAICS Code is 811310 and the size standard is $6.5 mil. This request for information is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, and the Government will not pay for information received as a result of this announcement. The results of this request may result in a future synopsis announced in FEDBIZOPS as a request for proposal. The General Requirements is as follows: The Contractor shall furnish all management, supervision, labor, tools, materials, parts, accessories, components, equipment, troubleshooting, operational testing, incidental engineering, transportation, delivery and disposal that is necessary to provide maintenance and repair of automotive service equipment, automotive lifts, and vehicle exhaust sytems in accordance with the contract requirements. The work includes the performance of service call work, rework, and indefinite quantity work items for maintenance and repair. Your response shall include the following information: Company Name, Company Size and Socio-Economic status (i.e. Small Business, 8(a), HUBZone, Woman-Owned Small Business, Service Disab led Veteran Owned Small Business, etc.) number of employees, revenue for the last three years, relevant past performance on same/similar work dating back no more than five years and your company?s capability to do this type of work. Documentation of technical expertise must be presented in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that your company possesses the necessary functional area expertrise and experience to compete for such services.
