Description
Provide materials and services necessary to accomplish specific prototyping, modifications, upgrades, service life extensions, testing and repairs for unmanned vehicles, boats, craft and Service Craft or their associated systems for Marine Boatyard Services and Industrial Support. The solicitation will be divided into two Lots. One Lot will be for boats, craft, lighterage and service craft that are less than 15 meter or 50 ft. in length (by Navy hull designation or Length Overall (LOA)) or less that can be transported via roadway by a trailer of some sort. The other Lot will be for boats, craft, lighterage and service craft that are 15 meter or 50 ft. in length and higher (by Navy hull designation or Length Overall (LOA)) that can be transported via roadway by a trailer of some sort or must be delivered on its bottom (via waterway) or for boats, craft, service craft, and lighterage less than 15 meter or 50 ft. in length (by Navy hull designation or Length Overall (LOA)), that must be delivered on its bottom (via waterway). The contractor may submit a proposal on one Lot or both Lots. This will be an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity, firm fixed price contract for a base year with four one-year options. Performance of work will be predominantly in the Mid-Atlantic Region of the United States, however, the possibility of performing services worldwide, although expected to be minimal, exists. Award will be based on best value procurement utilizing past performance, technical and price as evaluation factors. This procurement is not restricted to MSRA/ABR contractors. This is a follow-on procurement. The former contract numbers were N00024-00-D-8502/8503/8504.
