Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is a UNRESTRICTED using the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 424690. AIR 4.4 Propulsion Systems Evaluation Facility has a requirement for 25,000 gallons of Liquid Air to be delivered over approximately a 30 day period via contractors truck to a 12,000 gallon capacity pressurized storage tank which is elevated 27 feet above ground level and located adjacent to building #2360, The Propulsion System Evaluation Facility, 22229 Elmer Rd., Patuxent River Naval Air Warfare Center, Patuxent River, Maryland. The tank is Government owned and vacuum insulated. Fill connection is located at ground level and conveniently accessible via concrete roadway. Interested parties should refer to the attached specification for a general scope of the requirement. Quotes will be evaluated using the following criteria: **Technical capability**Delivery Schedule**Price**Past Performance When addressing technical capability, the contractor should provide descriptive literature, and any other information, which would help determine capability to meet the requirement. When addressing the delivery schedule, offerors must specify how soon after receipt of order the items will be delivered. When addressing price, offerors must provide the price per unit, along with the total price. Finally, offerors must provide two recent references for similar work, listing company name, point of contact and telephone number, dollar value, and year of the contract/order. The Government is conducting a best value procurement, which allows tradeoffs between the different evaluation factors. Award of a firm-fixed price purchase order is contemplated. To be eligible for award, contractors must first be registered in DoD?s Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database, information at: http://www.ccr.gov/ The specifications with additional detail are attached. For questions regarding the specifications, please contact Tom Weiss at 301-757-3420 or thomas.weiss@navy.mil.
