Description
This project consists of the construction of a new 38,328 square foot U.S. Army Reserve Center and Organizational Maintenance Shop and a 1,216 square foot Unheated Storage Building along with supporting infrastructure. The exterior consist of Precast wall panels supported on a steel frame, asphalt shingles on rigid insulation and metal deck, aluminum doors and windows, overhead doors and insulated metal doors. The interior shall consist of painted gypsum walls on metal studs, cmu walls, acoustical and gypsum board ceilings, ceramic tile floors and walls, VCT, carpet, metal caging and shelving, wood doors and cabinetry. The supporting facilities will consist of utilities, clearing and grubbing, landscaping, storm drainage, water, sanitary sewer, paving and parking. The new facilities will be constructed on 14 acre tract of land located along the southern side of County Road WW, between 28th and 32nd Avenues in Marathon County, Wisconsin. Estimated construction range is $5-10 million. Contract completion time is 540 calendar days. The Government will award a firm fixed price contract to that responsible offeror whose proposal is evaluated to be the lowest priced technically acceptable offer. To be eligible for award a firm must be registered in the DOD C entral Contractor Register (CCR) database via the CCR internet site at http://www.ccr.gov or by contacting the DOD Electronic Commerce Information Center at 1-800-334-3414. Evaluation factors are as follows: 1)Experience; 2) Past Performance; 3)Price and 4)Pro Forma Requirements. The plans and specifications will be available a/o 10 February 2006 and proposal due date is 14 March 2006. This project will be available by CD and download from the Internet. The project specification files are Portable Docum ent Format (PDF) files and can be viewed, navigated, or printed using Adobe Acrobat Reader. The drawing files are in CAL format and can be viewed, navigated, or printed using Source View Reader. Both readers are contained in the solicitation package. Mi nimum system requirements are 486- based personal computer, Microsoft Windows 3.1 or greater and 8 MB application RAM. This announcement serves as the advance notice for this project.
