- The purpose of this Modification is to add two additional CLIN Items and to change the Estimate date of Solicitation Issue. Please see below for complete details. CLIN 001 Gear Spur, NSN: 3020-01-167-8319, P/N: 12524072:19200. The items to procure is a Gear, Spur used in the Gun, Automatic, 25MM (M242). Matl is steel comp 4340 overall. Body style is 2 plain, with lightening holes. Pitch diameter is 76.0 MM nominal, teeth quantity is 38, bore style is 1 plain both ends, nominal outside diameter is 80.0 MM, tooth form is stuff, face nominal width is 19.0 MM, special features are 1 end of bore is CSK TO 0.5 MM depth by 45 degrees. CLIN 0002 Gear Spur, NSN: 3020-01-119-2287, P/N: 12524097:19200. The item to procure is a Gear Spur Clutch used in M242 MG material 4340 steel part manufactured from raw stock. Overall dimensions 65mm long 85mm diameter 48 tooth gear on one end overall close tolerances required. CLIN 0003 Gear Spur, NSN: 3020-01-167-8318, P/N: 12524071:19200. The item to procure is a Gear, Sp ur for the M242 Gun, Automatic, 25MM. Matl is steel comp 4340 overall. Body style is 2 plain, with lightening holes. Pitch diameter is 76.0 mm nominal, teeth quantity is 38, bore style is 1 plain both ends, nominal outside diameter 80.0 mm, tooth form i s stub, face nominal width is 19.0 mm. This solicitation will result in a 5-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contract with a Guaranteed Minimum Quantity of 396 each and a Maximum Contract Quantity of 2,000 each for CLIN 001, and a Guaranteed M inimum Quantity of 20 each and a Maximum Contract Quantity of 300 each for CLIN 002, and a Guaranteed Minimum Quantity of 50 each and a Maximum Contract Quantity of 1,000 each for CLIN 003. FOB is Destination for each CLIN item. For use on the M242, 25mm, Automatic Gun. ESTIMATED ISSUE DATE FOR ACTUAL SOLICITATION IS FEBRUARY 27, 2006. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided.
