- PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: The VA National Acquisition Center will issue Request for Proposal (RFP) VA797-06-RP-0002 for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Department of Defense (DoD), Indian Health Service (IHS), and Bureau of Prisons (BOP) for Isosorbide Mononitrate SA Tablets. The estimated annual usage for Isosorbide Mononitrate SA Tablets is as follows: 43,026 bottles of 30mg tablets in bottles of 100; 26,978 bottles of 60mg in bottles of 100 and 154,498 bottles of 120mg tablets in bottles of 100. The contract period will be for one year plus four one-year option periods. The contract items will be distributed through the VA and DoD's respective Pharmaceutical Prime Vendor(s). Offeror's must provide bar code labeling which includes at a minimum the NDC number. In addition, tablets must be compatible with automatic dispensing units (Baxter ATC Canisters, Optifil, etc.). If the offeror is not a manufacturer, a signed agreement between the offeror and the manufacturer must be submitted with the offer and remain in effect for the duration of the contract period including the option years. OFFERS ARE NOT BEING SOLICITED AT THIS TIME. The solicitation will be available on or about the issue date of February 15, 2006. If the solicitation is issued on February 15, 2006, offers will be due by 3:00 pm Central Standard Time on March 8, 2006. If a paper copy of this solicitation is desired please contact.
