- Description
- The USDA Forest Service-Allegheny National Forest. BRADFORD RANGER DISTRICT, WAREHOUSE AND SITE. Project is located at the Intersection of SR 59 and SR 321 in Marshburg, PA. The new administrative site will include construction of roadways, parking areas, warehouses, and installation of utilities including water, electric and sewage. Work includes the full range of fabrication, construction, and installation services necessary to achieve fully functional systems. The scope of work includes the construction of approximately 0.4 miles of new road, parking areas for 70 vehicles, two heated warehouses, one unheated warehouse, one unheated vehicle storage building, tree cooler, water pump house, paint storage building, vehicle fueling station, and utilities in support of these buildings including water, electric and sewage. Contract will contain a base quantity with two option items. For consideration on this project the offeror at a minimum must be a firm or joint venture with experience, individually or as a member of a team, successfully and satisfactorily completing a project of similar size and scope. Solicitation packages will be posted on or about February 28, 2006. Interested offerors may request and obtain a solicitation distributed through the Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fbo.gov. Government estimated range for base plus options is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications at http://orca.bpn.gov in conjunction with required registration in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. Official date for receipt of proposals will be shown on the bid package. This proposed acquisition is UNRESTRICTED (open to both large and small) pursuant to Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program Act of 1988, Public Law 100-656 (15 U.S.C. 644 note). The applicable NAICS code is 237990 and the associated Size Standard is $28.5 Million.
