DESCRIPTION: The Body Assembly is part of the valve, comp bleed, PN 569894. Application: TF33. QTY: Range of 68 Max, 54 Med, and 27 Min. Destn: Tinker AFB OK 73145-3032. Delivery: April 2006. The approximate issue date of solicitation will be 15 February 2006. This item is competitive. The anticipated award date is April 2006. Specifications, plans, or drawings relating to the procurement described are incomplete or not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. First Articles Requirements will apply. The anticipated award date is April 2006. Due to the complexity and criticality of this part, only actual manufacturers that have successfully completed all testing required by the original company responsible for the design (or manufacturers that have successfully completed all testing on items determined by the government to be similar in complexity and criticality completed) can be considered approved sources for this item. Written procedure will be used for this solicitation. Only written or faxed requests received directly from the requestors are acceptable. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal or quotation, which will be considered. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contact with United Technologies Corp. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source selection process.
