- SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS WILL BE AVAILABLE ON THE FEDTEDS WEBSITE (www.fedteds.gov). Solicitation will be issued on or about January, 31, 2006. Work is to be performed at three sites. Sites are: McNary Lock and Dam at Umatilla, OR, Ice Harbor Lock and Dam at Burbank, WA, and Lower Monumental Lock and Dam at Kahlotus, WA. Contractors shall furnish all labor, equipment, chemicals and water necessary for the application of herbicides for weed control to various right-of-way, and non crop sites. Speci fically, the work requires the application of Sahara herbicide at a rate of 10 pounds per acre. Approximate acreage for the three sites is 185. The work also requires the application of Payload herbicide at the rate of 12 ounces per acre for approximatel y 10 acres. ADMIN INFO: Solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business contractors. For the purpose of this procurement, a concern is considered a small business if its annual average gross income does not exceed $6.0 million. The North American Ind ustry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561630. In order for contractors to conduct business with the Department of Defense, the contractor must provide registration information to the Central Contractor Registration (CCR).
