Description

The VA National Acquisition Center will issue RFP 797-NC-05-0064 for the Department of Veterans Affairs’ (VA) requirements for Anesthesia Computerized Information Systems/Automated Record Keepers (CIS/ARK) software. It is estimated that VA will purchase for installation approximately 5 systems annually. each systems may consist of up to 10 license agreements for CIS/ARK software to be installed on individual work stations. The estimated quantities listed above are for VA only. VA intends to award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contracts with up to three awards. Successful offerors will be required to develop and install CIS/ARK software, at a minimum, in any VA facility within the 50 United States and Puerto Rico. Development and installation of CIS/ARK software within VA shall be in accordance with a comprehensive set of standards, specifications and requirements that will be contained in the solicitation. The solicitation shall require offerors to provide detailed proposals that will demonstrate their understanding and capability to meet these standards, requirements and specifications, including the development of a real-time bi-directional interface to select VA computerized systems. Offerors must be routine developers and installers of this type of software for use in a hospital setting and will be required to provide a demonstration of CIS/ARK software operating in an active hospital setting. The solicitation will be available for downloading, on or about the issue date of October 6, 2005, from the VA Office of Acquisition and Material Management’s (O&AMM) internet web site at http://www.bos.oamm.va.gov.
