- This is a sources sought synopsis seeking information from Emerging Small Business firms that have an interest in submitting as a prime contractor, a proposal for the following project: DESCRIPTION: The Contractor shall provide all the needed labor, equipment, materials, and services for the installation of a LP gas forced air heating system in the Kennecott Recreation Hall at Kennecott, Alaska. The contractor shall provide and install all ducting, LP piping, furnace unit, parts and labor for the designed heating system. Location: The project site is located in the historic Kennecott Townsite, which is located approximately 5 miles north of McCarthy, Alaska. The 2002 NAICS Code for this effort is 238220-Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning (size standard $13 million). This project is 100% set aside for Emerging Small Business under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program (FAR Subpart 19.10). We are requesting that all interested and qualified firms respond to this sources sought notice by submitting company information (name, address, phone number, email address, and point of contact) via email or fax to the National Park Service, Alaska Regional Office, Contracting Office, Attn: Ms. Marichu N. Firms must be registered in the Central Contracting Register (CCR), website: http://www.ccr.gov/ when doing business with the Government. This sources sought notice should not be construed in any manner to be an obligation on the National Park Service, Alaska Regional Office's part to issue a contract, or result in any claim for reimbursement of costs for any effort you expend in responding to this request.
