- Description
- The 355th Contracting Squadron, Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Tucson, Arizona is currently seeking information regarding qualified small business sources capable of providing corrosion control to aerospace and ground equipment, to include removing existing finish and stencil to bare metal and repainting to military specifications, color and thickness (MILPRF-8528C, color #24052, semi gloss standard 595). The estimated units per year is 120. Contractor must have pick-up and delivery (to designated area on Davis-Monthan AFB) capability. Interested parties who believe they can meet or exceed the requirements described in this notice are requested to submit a letter of interest stating that the requirements can be fulfilled. Responses must include the following: Name and address of firm; size of business; Cage Code; and whether they are a large, small, small-disadvantaged, 8(a), HUBZONE, disabled veteran or woman-owned business. Respondents must also identify applicable warranty and turn-around/delivery time. The applicable NAICS code is 811121. The size standard, as defined by the U.S. Small Business Administration, is $6.5 million dollars. THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATION AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for information solicited. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. No solicitation exists; therefore, please do not request a copy of a solicitation. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on FedBizOpps. It is the responsibility of each interested party to monitor this site for the release of any solicitation or synopsis. Respondents deemed fully qualified will be considered in any resultant solicitation for the requirement. The Government reserves the right to consider a small business or 8(a) set-aside based upon responses hereto.
