Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons - Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for the provision of Bilingual Psychiatry services for the inmate population at the Federal Correctional Institution Phoenix, located in Phoenix, Arizona. It is anticipated that this RFQ will result in award of a single contract that shall consist of a base period, from the effective date of award through September 30, 2006, and the possibility of four 12 month option periods. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed unit prices. Award will be made to the responsible quoter who submits the most advantageous quote to the Government The estimated number of sessions (a session equals one hour) is 102 sessions for the base period, and 184 sessions for each of the possible option periods. The solicitation will be available on or about February 09, 2006 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on or about March 02, 2006. The solicitation is set-aside for small business. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 621112 and the applicable small business size standard is $8.5 million.
