Description
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is seeking small business sources to assist the Federal Government and Quality Improvement Organizations (QIOs) in developing a new Clinical Data Abstraction Center. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code applicable to the proposed contract requirement is 518210 Data Processing, Hosting, and Related Service. Potential Small Business Sources must document their technical and management capability, background and past experience of performance of a contract(s) for the specific requirements set forth in this notice. Specific requirements of the proposed contract effort considered to be necessary for successful performance are: The CDAC shall establish, implement, and manage an accurate, reliable, efficient, and cost-effective clinical data abstraction, validation, adjudication and entry operation that continually meets CMS?s objectives and provides support to the QIOs as appropriate. On a continuous basis, the CDAC shall analyze its operation and maintain and improve the quality, accuracy, reliability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness of all services provided with emphasis on devising and developing better methods and/or procedures for performing high quality, accurate, reliable, timely data abstraction, validation, adjudication and entry services. The CDAC shall share all improvement information and ideas with CMS and other entities as requested by CMS in order to continually improve the services provided to the QIOs. The CDAC shall maintain a record of method improvements that can be documented as having savings and/or intrinsic value. Responses must be received within fifteen (15) days from the date of this notice. The written response with a page limitation of 25 pages should consist of one (1) original and (4) four copies, shall be sent to the following: The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Attention Herman L. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not pay for any information submitted.
