Description

The USDA, Agricultural Research Service, Roman L. Hruska U.S. Meat Animal Research Center, Clay Center, Nebraska, requires a contract with a primer synthesis facility to provide custom oligonucleotides. Deliveries shall be made Monday through Friday only between the hours of 7:00 A.M. and 3:00 P.M., excluding Federal holidays, unless otherwise scheduled. This acquisition is being conducted on a Commercial Items Best Value basis. Evaluation criteria in no order of preference are price, quality control, rapid delivery and past performance. This is a cascade solicitation that is 100% set-aside for small business (fewer than 500 employees). In the event no reasonable offers are received from responsible small business, then offers from large businesses will be considered. The solicitation will be available in Adobe Acrobat format for downloading February 10, 2006. The offer response date is scheduled for February 24, 2006.
