- Fleet Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound, in support of Puget Sound Naval Shipyard Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNSIMF)& Subase Bangor has a requirement for two diver's floating docks to include removal and disposal of the existing docks. The docks shall consist of concrete with a perimeter of wood and rubber and must be capable of mooring various sized marine vessels. Complete specs for the docks will be included in the solicitation. Place of delivery will be Naval Subase Bangor, Silverdale, WA 98315-6403. The solicitation will be issued as 100% Total Small Business Set Aside using commercial procedures IAW FAR Part 12 and 15. The anticipated contract type of award may be of the firm, fixed price supply type. The solicitation will be issued on or about 03 Feb 06 and closing on or about 03 Mar 06. When issued, the RFP will be electronically posted via the NECO website at www.neco.navy.mil. Offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFP package and to frequently monitor the site for any amendments to the RFP. No telephone or fax request for the RFP will be accepted. An email request to janet.m.baker@navy.mil will be accepted in the event an offeror experiences problems downloading the RFP from the NECO website. This office will maintain no bidders list. No paper copies of the RFP/Amendments will be mailed. Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFP and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render your offer non-responsive and result in rejection of the same. Note that electronic submission of proposals/quotes is not available at this time.
