Description

The U.S. Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) is seeking bids for a contractor to provide all equipment and labor needed for the delivery of twenty-thousand (20,000) un-packed cubic yards of rock to a location within the Tule Lake National Wildlife Refuge, California. The government furnished rock is located at Indian Pit on the Lower Klamath National Refuge located off of Lower Lake Road in Siskiyou County, California. The rock will be loaded into the contractors belly dump trucks with a 4 1/4 cubic yard loader to be provided and operated by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service personnel. U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service will also provide and operate a bull dozer/grader at the delivery site. This contract will be for one (1) base year four (4) option years (5 years total). An organized site visit is tentatively scheduled for the week of February 22, 2006. Prospective contractors must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) prior to award. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award. Information on CCR registration can be obtained via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov.The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 484220 (Specialized Freight (except used goods) Trucking, Local). Small business size standard is $23.5 million. The solicitation will be posted on February 3, 2006. No hard copies of this solicitation will be distributed.
