Description

Requirement is to provide documents for the modifications of buildings and to install a complete working wet pipe sprinkler system suitable to adequately protect building 6635. The sprinkler shall be designed and installed in accordance with the Nati onal Fire Protection (NFPA) 13, Installation of Sprinklers, NFPA 231C, Standard for Rack Storage Maerials, NFPA 24, Standard for the Installation of Private Fire Service Mains and their appurtenances. The contractor shall make all required modifications to have a complete operating system. Contractor shall install water line from fire main to include tapping valve and sleeve (16maximum) mechanical joint gate valve, and valve box for fire suppression water distribution. Water line shall be excavated, in stalled, back-filled and disinfected in accordance with plans and specifications. The water supply for building 6635 will be via existing delunge pumping station, building 6623 pumps have a capacity of 1500 GPM each. Static pressure in underground sprin kler supply main is approximately 100 psi. The contractor shall furnish and install a fire alarm panel, and design and install a fire alarm system. The contractor shall install a Government furnished King Fisher transmitter, antenna and batteries. Contr actor is to provide all materials necessary to install IAW manufacturers installation and instructions and provided drawings. The contract shall install a 6diameter concrete filled pipe bollards. The Contractor is responsible for knowledge of and compl iance with all environmental laws, regulations, and programs of this installation. For the purpose of determining Small Business size for this acquisition is NAICS 238220, the average annual receipts of a concern and its affiliates for the preceding three fiscal years must not exceed $12 million.
