Description

Modification 01: This is a modification to subject solicitation posted in FEDBizOpps on 12 December 2005. Building 6635 formerly on this solicitation is hereby deleted (See solicitation W91248-06-Q-0018 for building 6635 requirement). The descript ion for building 7262 is as follows: The sprinkler shall be designed and installed in accordance with the National Fire Protection (NFPA) 13, Installation of Sprinklers, UFC3-600-1, Jan 2004, NFPA 409, Aircraft Hangers, Wet Pipe Sprinkler Systems and Fire Alarm Systems. The new wet pipe system shall have a flow switch connected to the existing fire alarm control panel. The new pipe also shall be hydraulically calculated to provide the appropriate GPM/SF for the caged area. The contractor shall make all r equired modifications to have a complete operating system. The sprinkler system design shall meet the same hazard design as the existing hangar bay sprinklers. The water supply for building 7262 is via the existing deluge pumping station, building 7284. The pumps each have a capacity of 1500GPM. Static pressure in underground sprinkler supply main is approximately 75 psi. The Contractor is responsible for knowledge of and compliance with all environmental laws, regulations, and programs of this instal lation. For the purpose of determining Small Business size for this acquisition is NAICS 238220, the average annual receipts of a concern and its affiliates for the preceding three fiscal years must not exceed $12 million. The Estimated Price Range is Between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00.
