- This is a notice of intent that WR-ALC anticipates issuing a Firm Fixed Price one-time contract with options for additional quantities, for the procurement of the ITA Display Unit applicable to the C-17 aircraft. The ITA Display Unit is a subsystem within the mission computer/electronic display system, to provide mechanical and electrical interface between the C-17 MILTS and the DUMD/FP during test and fault isolation. CLIN 0001: NSN: 4920014861575BA; NOUN: ITA Display Unit; P/N: 17G570795-501; HEIGHT: 15 Inches; WIDTH: 9 Inches; DEPTH: 16 Inches; WEIGHT: 40 lbs; MATL: Aluminum Alloy Steel. SCHEDULE: The basic period will include (CLIN 0001), with the quantity range of 1-7 each. Option periods one, two, and three (CLINS 1001, 2001, 3001), consist of the quantity range 1-10 each. DELIVERY: Production articles are due for all CLINS 120 days after receipt of the contract, FOB DESTINATION to (FD2090) BOEING LOGISTICS SPARES INC, 5690 SOUTHFIELD DR., FOREST PARK GA 30297-2524. The approximate solicitation issue date will be 10 Feb 2006 with the approximate response date of 13 March 2006. Solicitation will be available for viewing or downloading at www.fedbizopps.gov only. This Solicitation will be issued as a request for proposal (RFP). This acquisition is restricted to McDonnell Douglas Corporation, 2401 E. Warlow Road, Long Beach, CA 90807-5309.
