- SYNOPSIS N40085-05-B-2450, TRANSIT BUS SERVICES This Pre-Solicitation was previously incorrectly numbered N40085-05-B-2405. NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic is currently seeking potential sources for services at Naval Station, Norfolk, Virginia. The scope of work includes all labor, supervision, equipment, transportation, and management necessary to provide Twelve Transit type Buses for long-term lease to Navy Mid-Atlantic Transportation Department. This is a combined Firm Fixed Price / Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Performance-Based Contract. This procurement will be handled under Sealed Bid Procedures. The Government may use the four option years to extend the contract for a period of one to 48 months. The total duration, including the exercise / award of any options, shall not exceed 60 months. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 532120, and the size standard is $21,500,000. Offers shall be submitted to perform work for a period of one (1) year. This is a 100% small business set-aside. The Invitation for Bids (IFB) will be posted on the NAVFACENGCOM Electronic Solicitation (E-Sol) web site on or about June 21, 2005. The estimated date for receipt of offers is July 20, 2005. All eligible firms interested in a copy of the IFB may view and/or download the document at the following web site, http://esol.navfac.navy.mil. This solicitation will be available in electronic format only. Contractors are encouraged to register on the E-Sol web site prior to downloading the solicitation to ensure notification of any / all changes / additional information related to the solicitation. In accordance with the provisions of DFARS 252.204-7004, REQUIRED CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION, offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. Lack of registration in the CCR database on the part of an offeror will make an offeror ineligible for award. Offerors and contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423 or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov.navy.mil.
