Description

The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound is soliciting for a firm fixed price supply type contract to be negotiated on sole source basis with TRI TOOL Inc, Rancho Cordova, CA for SSTG and Main Engine poppet seat system and BEVELMASTER assembly. Delivery date shall be 60 days after date of contract. The commercial solicitation will be issued on or about 01 February 2006 with a closing date of 08 February 2006. Proposed contract to be procured using commercial Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 12 and 13.5. To be negotiated on a sole source basis with TRI TOOL INC per FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals prior to offer due date, which will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation which shall be considered by FISCPS.This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: http://www.neco.navy.mil under solicitation number N00406-06-T-0392. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents.
