Description

The following three (3) changes are made to this combined synopsis/soliciation. All other aspects of the synopsis/soliciation remain in effect. Change 1: A0002 SUV SPORT UTILITY VEHICLE will be 4X4 (4-wheel drive) Change 2: Replace "Loss Damage Waiver" paragraph with the following: The Government and the Contractor shall perform a joint inspection of the vehicle at the time of Contractor pickup. The Government activity renting the vehicle will pay for any damages in excess of normal wear and tear. Contractors are cautioned that the Government, by signing the damage estimate, does not acknowledge liability therefore. This can only be accomplished by an authorized and warranted Contracting Officer after evaluation and consideration of all factors. Change 3: Reponse date is extended to February 1, 2006 at 1400 hours. Place and method of submission of proposals is as listed below. NOTICE TO ALL BIDDERS ? PROPOSAL DELIVERY: For FedEx, UPS, or other delivery services, please utilize 9324 Virginia Avenue, Building Z-140, Room 320 for delivery. Proposals mailed utilizing the U. S. Postal Service should be addressed to 9742 Maryland Avenue, Norfolk, VA 23511-3095 for delivery. All other hand-carried proposals will be received at 9324 Virginia Avenue, Building Z-140, Room 320, prior to 1400 on January 30, 2006. Proposals may be submitted via email to the following email address: deborah.abell@navy.mil and must be received by February 1, 2006 at 1400 hours.
