- I. INTRODUCTION. A. This is a synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Parts 12.6 and 13, as supplemented with additional information in this notice. This announcement constitutes the synopsis and a solicitation will be issued. B. The solicitation number is: W56HZV-06-R-A502. C. This acquisition is set aside for small business. The NAICS code applicable to this acquisition is 334220, Radio and Television Broadcasting and Wireless Communications Equipment Manufacturing. D. Basis for award An award will be made to the responsive responsible offeror whose proposed prices overall represent the best value to the Government. II. GENERAL. A. The United States Army Tank and Automotive, Fire and Emergency Services Division, Warren, Michigan has a requirement for Motorola portable radios, consolettes and associated equipment/software. B.
