NSN: 1005-01-480-0289, Part Number: 12993733. The item to procure is a Chamber, Blank Firing. The M24 Blank Firing Chamber is used on the M240 Series of Machine Guns. Material is stainless steel comp 17-4PH. This item consists of the Body, 12993734, Shaft, 12993735, and Pull Ring, 754854-3. The proposed contract will be a 5-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract with a guaranteed minimum quantity of 10,000 each. This will be a 100% small business set-aside. FOB is destination. Es timated issue date is 17 Feb 06. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unab le to maintain a bidders mailing list.
