Description

This is a notice of intent that the 146th Air Wing, California Air National, Channel Islands Air Guard Station, Port Hueneme, California 93041 using Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 6.30 2-1 anticipates issuing a sole source contract award against GSA Contract GS-07F-0040M for the purchase of: CLIN 0001: Two (2) each C-130J Aircraft Armor Kit, P/N: 805510014 FIXTURE; CLIN 0002: Two (2) each Installation Kit, P/N: 80551800; CLIN 0003: Two (2) each Supplemental Armor Kit, P/N: 42281400 and CLIN 0004: Shipping Charges. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government will solicit with only one source Foster-Miller, Inc., Waltham, MA. THIS IS NOT A REQU EST FOR QUOTATION. However, all interested parties who believe they meet this requirement are invited to submit in writing, within 10 days of publication of this notice, complete information describing their ability to provide these supplies. Such inform ation should contain pricing information for providing these supplies. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon written responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Governm ent does not intend to pay for information provided. Information received as a result of this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive requirement.
