Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in the notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement number F3ZT896011A100, is issued as a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-08 and Defense DCN 20051220. The solicitation/acquisition listed here is 100% small business set aside. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is J061. The associated Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 7694. The North American Industry Classification System is 811310 and the associated business size standard is $6,000,000. This request for quotation consists of the following: Item 0001: Vendor to provide all labor, tools, parts, materials and facilities necessary to refurbish (3) each synchronous AC generator to serviceable condition IAW manufacturer?s specifications. Vendor to provide transportation of generators weighing approximately 6000 lbs each to and from 730 E Street Bldg 1205, Travis AFB, CA. SERIAL NOS: YN 19-53961-12/14-01, RE 19-51386-5/15-2, ZB 19-53980-2/15. Manufacturer: Marthon Electric, 2400/4160VAC, 3 PHASE, 130 AMPS, 750-KW, .8PF, 1800 RPM, 70VDC Field Voltage, 2.1 Field AMPS. KNOWN DEFECTS: Normal wear under normal conditions. MINIMUM WORK TO BE ACCOMPLISHED: 1.) Test windings IAW manufacturer?s specifications and Electrical Apparatus Services Association (EASA) standards, 2.) Repair or replace lead wires as necessary using silver soldered connectors & reinsulate with 5-kV shrink tubes. Length of new leads shall be no shorter than 15 feet measured from outside edge of exciter housing. Customer will accomplish installation of terminals at the end of new leads. 3.) Re-tag all lead wirings for proper phasing. 4.) Disassemble, inspect, clean rotor, stator and exciter assembly. 5.) Replace rectifier assembly using OEM part number 45200, furnished by the government. 6.) Clean , Vacuum Pressure Impregnate (VPI), and bake rotor, stator and exciter assembly windings. 7.) Dynamic balance rotor assembly and replace bearing using OEM part number A-9705R-100, furnished by government. 8.) Clean, prep and primer paint external generator parts. 9.) Reassemble and test generator. 10.) High Potential test AC & DC windings. 11.) Surge test AC windings. 12.) Furnish final results of all electrical and mechanical tests to OL-A AFCESA/CEMIRT. Item(s) shall be picked up and delivered to FOB point Travis AFB, CA no later than 30 days after receipt of order. The following provisions and or clauses apply to this acquisition.
